About me

My name is David, I am a budding 3D Modeler recently graduated with First Class Honors from Bournemouth University, England with a degree a Games Technology.

My final year dissertation was an investigation into the reasons behind players picking the characters they play as in MOBAs (Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas). Using Hi-Rez Studio's SMITE as the basis of my research; this study highlighted the character attributes most favoured by players. Therefor leading design and development of future characters, not just in SMITE but in the genre as a whole.

Having studied all aspects of the Games Industry for 5 years at both college and university I have become versed in a wide range of topics; from understanding design briefs to the concept design process, C++/C# programming to 3D modelling and texturing.

I have experience with a range of industry tools but I am always looking to improve these skills and more through hard work.

My interests lie in 3D modeling as well as the games design process. I have been playing games for as long as I can remember which has undoubtedly contributed to my vivid imagination. I am always coming up with ideas for stories, words, characters and I am filled with determination and drive to bring video games to life.
