Indoor Facility (Map)
This map was created using thee "Forge" feature of the Xbox 360 game; Halo Reach.
My aim for this map was to create a fast paced indoor arena that has multiple directions, multiple levels, weapons and areas for concentrated combat. The style of the map is to be based around a combat training facility in the UNSC. The map is split into two main bases on the left and right of the room with a large raised walkway in the middle that stands between them.

Finally this is the middle section of the map.

Both of the outer sections have an inside and outside at ground level with tight corners and short range. This is also where the players initially spawn and offer routes to get to the rest of the map almost immediately.

The weapons on the map are evenly spread out with no one side having a more powerful weapon than the other, the one power weapon in the map is located in the middle of the raised walkway and consists of a Plasma Sword. I chose to put it on the raise platform to create a mad dash for the center as the Plasma Sword is usually one of the most most sought after weapons in Halo as it has the ability to one-shot an opponent.

There are two mounted machine guns on each side close to the spawns. Both have line of sight each other and most of the lower areas of the map, however they are exposed on all sides. This offers the players a risk-reward scenario, as although getting kills may seem easy, unless the player detaches the turret they are stood still in the open, if they do detach it they will then have a limited amount of ammo and have impaired movement speed.

There are no Amour Abilities located on this map, this is due to the budgeting system implemented in Halo Reach's Forge mode; not only are creators limited by the number of each object they can place but also the amount of money they can spend on a map to make it. Because of this I ran out of money and was unable to place any in the map. This is not hugely important however because it means the map resembles a classic Halo game where there was no Armour Abilities. If I could I would definitely add them in as I feel it would enhance the pace of the matches, making them faster and more strategic.
